A teen struggling in or out of school or socially?
A young man trying to navigate the world of dating, shidduchim, or the workforce?

a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a passion to help teens and young adults find meaning and purpose in their lives.
In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and practicing yoga. Both are calming activities that greatly enrich my life as well as my practice. They add a spiritual and holistic dimension to my work.
I’ve studied and learned about the Holocaust from a young age, absorbing the powerful lessons handed down to us from survivors; and the courage and strength of those who perished. I was deeply touched by their acts of heroism, sacrifice, and selflessness despite living in the darkest of times. This is partly what fuels my work in helping people overcome their struggles and use them as a springboard for growth.
You call and leave a message on my phone.
We schedule a free 15 minute consultation to see whether we’re a good fit. You ask me any questions you have.
This is our first session where we get to know each other and explore your goals for therapy.
We continue to meet weekly (or twice weekly if necessary) until you feel you’ve reached the goals you set out for yourself.
Here are some frequently asked questions I get. If you’ve got a question that isn’t here, then call me here and I’ll be happy to answer you.
While there is no specified length of treatment time, I do follow standardized approaches for many common issues. So, following your intake session, I’ll be able to give you an estimated time frame of how long it typically takes.
Intakes: 60 minutes.
Regular session: 50 minutes
Family sessions: 75 minutes
90-minute sessions and to be seen multiple times a week are also available if we both determine it is necessary.

If you’re struggling and feel stuck in certain areas of your life, therapy can be a safe and productive space to move towards your goals.
Nope. Not everyone who goes to therapy has an official diagnosis, and even for those who do, their diagnosis can change over time. If you are going to therapy, all it means is that you are taking care of your emotional health:)
You can leave a message at 917-482-3828 at any time of day and you will receive a callback within 36 hours. Email is the best way to reach me.
Maybe you think it’s only for people with “serious” issues.
Maybe you’ve been to a few therapists but you didn’t see change and you’re wondering what another therapist can offer you.
Maybe you’re afraid of what people will think of you if you go to therapy.
Maybe you’re not sure therapy is worth the investment.
That’s why I’m here to answer any questions you may have prior to booking an intake session.
